THE SAN FRANCISCO SCHOOL OF BARTENDING What do you actually learn here? “I like that they throw you right behind the bar”, “Grabbing your Vodka, Gin, Rum, Triple Sec.” “You get into it right away.” Lots of it is hands on motion and muscle memory. Moving like a bartendier. We have lots of drills here for you so that you make a lot of drinks in a short period of time. The practicalities that are unique to bartending become second nature to you. You don’t have to think about them to too great an extent when you get behind a real bar. Lots of our students get jobs all over the bay area. –”I’m very interested in the Mixology track…” We’ve taken what we believe is a way for you to choose your own path. So you can take our curriculum and go whatever direction you want with it. “One of the good things the school provided me with was the mixology class, which really intrigued me and got me into the history of mixology & basically into cocktail bartending where I’m at now”. “Infusion is basically the new hottest night club. You get people from celebrities to other nightclub owners… The school really helped prepare me to get behind a bar here.” We cover customer service and cash handling, some POS machine work here. We also go over wine service and beer service, down to actually cutting real garnishes here at the school. We have incorporated a flair class, or they can take our advanced mixology course. There is an employment workshop that you can take advantage of. “With Shawn
